Registration & Submission Instructions

Register as an author at this URL:

• To be considered for publication, please submit your article by June 30th, 2013.
• On the registration page, you will create a username and a password that can be used to log into the article submission page. Please use your Geneseo username.
• Under Bio statement, include your status and major, e.g., “Student, Philosophy”
• In order to submit papers for consideration, you must check the Author: box:
• If you are interested in helping review papers submitted by students, check the Reviewer: box.

Submitting Articles

After registering, you should be taken to the User Home page for this journal, which appears as below. You can also access the User Home page from this link:

https://ojs.geneseo.edu/index.php/great/user

To submit an article, click the New Submission link near the right side of the page:

Step One

You’ll be taken through a quick five step process for your submitting your article. In the first step,

• Make sure that you have completed all of the preparatory steps indicated in the Submission Checklist, and check off all of the boxes to confirm that you have completed these steps.
• Include the name of your faculty sponsor or advisor in Comments for the Editor.
• Click Save and Continue

Step Two

In the second step, upload your paper by browsing for the paper and then clicking Upload.

Step Three

In the third step, provide your paper’s Title and Abstract. Also, provide your First and Last Name, along with your campus Email address. If your paper has more than one author, click Add Author to provide details about additional authors. In this case, you can also indicate which of the multiple authors should receive correspondance from interested readers.

Step Four

If you have any other files connected to your paper that you would like to make available (such as a PDF of your poster, or a recording of your performance, you can upload them in this step.

Step Five

Click Finish Submission and you’re done!
