We are pleased to announce the 2014-15 Limelight and Accents Series for the upcoming academic year. This year, new talent as well as returning artists promise to delight every audience for outstanding cultural and performing arts programs.
Our series features an a capella group, Rockapella, back for the third time and the Turtle Island Quartet, a Grammy Award-winning string quartet that fuses classical and contemporary sounds. We invite you to tap along to Chicago Tap Theatre's percussive dance, and during Siblings Weekend, the Kenya Safari Acrobats will electrify the stage with their gravity-defying dance, balance, and incredible gymnastics. To round out the series, we are proud to host two groups that incorporate different cultures through their unique artistic styling: The Elders, an Irish-American folk rock band, and the Duquesne University Tamburitzans, a multi-cultural song and dance company that has been performing Eastern European folk traditions since the nineteenth century.
We look forward to sharing this season of live entertainment with you, revisiting old memories and experiencing something new.
Enjoy and thank you for your continued support.
