DEAR FRIENDS: Over the past 40 years, the Limelight & Accents Performing Arts Series has delivered a multitude of performances to our community that highlight the best in dance and music. As the new coordinators for the Series, our goal is to not only maintain the quality of shows that our audiences are used to but to offer everyone an unforgettable experience each time they attend a performance.
The variety of performances in this year's Series is unprecedented. The 2009-2010 Series offers audiences the opportunity to view the incredible moves of Parsons Dance Company, experience the feats of the renowned Golden Dragon Acrobats, enjoy the comedic a capella of The Blanks, celebrate
the holidays with the Dallas Brass, listen to the world-famous voices of the Harlem Gospel Choir and partake in the urban percussion and modern tap offered by The Rhythmics.
Ansel Adams once said, "In wisdom gathered over time I have found that every experience is a form of exploration." Each show and master class associated with this year's Series offers the possibility for audiences to embark on their own exploration by experiencing something new.
