The women's basketball team hosted the Cobleskill Fighting Tigers and raced to a 60-45 victory. In a tightly contested first half, Geneseo led 29-28 at the intermission as junior Alyssa Polosky scored eight of her 12 points. The Blue Knights broke the game open with a 21-1 run to begin the second half, capped by a three-pointer by junior Khadija Campbell with 12:58 remaining. Campbell led Geneseo with 14 points on 5-11 from the field, 2-5 from the arc and 2-6 from the line. Polosky hit six of eight shots, junior Melissa Loughlin added 10 points on five of nine shooting, sophomore Bri Dunton collected six rebounds and five assists and first year Melissa Graham dished five helpers. Geneseo moves to 3-1 on the season and travels to Cortland on Friday.
