The men's basketball team began their two-game swing in Seattle, Washington with a tough 77-65 loss to St. Martin's University. After opening an 11-4 lead early in the game, Geneseo trailed 37-28 at the half. St. Martin's built a 16-point lead in the second stanza, but Geneseo got no closer than six points at 50-44. Senior Brandon Simpson scored 24 points on 11-15 shooting to lead Geneseo. Sophomore Abe Miller netted 19 points and a team-high seven rebounds on 8-13 from the field. Senior Kyle Stevens added nine points and junior Mike Baker dished out nine assists. The Knights fall to 1-4 on the season and take on Western Washington on Saturday.
