USILA Coaches Poll

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association announced this week's USILA Coaches Poll and the Geneseo Blue Knights moved up five spots to #10 after their 10-5 win over #30 Union on Tuesday and the 9-8 overtime victory over #14 Nazareth on Saturday. The Blue Knights travel to Onondaga Community College on Friday to take on #21 Ithaca at 12:30 p.m.

Rochester Area College Athletics

Sophomore Jeff Watson earned honorable mention Male Athlete of the Week as announced by Rochester Area College Athletics (RACA) on Monday. Watson had two goals and seven assists in a 2-0 week, including scoring the game-winner 11 seconds into overtime in the 9-8 victory over Nazareth.

USTFCCCA Coaches Poll

The men's indoor track and field team goes into this weekend's NCAA Division III Indoor championships ranked fifth by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll. The Blue Knights send six student-athletes to the championships led by sophomore Wenley Louis, who is the top-ranked long jumper in Division III and fifth-ranked triple jumper. Senior Tim Chichester and sophomore Lee Berube, who is seeded third, compete in the 5,000 meters, with senior Pat Gallagher, junior Ryan O'Connor and sophomore Henry Potter joining Berube on the second-ranked Distance Medley Relay.
