Senior Andrew Sorrento, who won the hammer throw with an NCAA provisional qualifying toss, finished fourth in the shot put and fifth in the discus at the Rochester Invitational, collected honorable mention Rochester Area College Athletics (RACA) Male Athlete of the Week and State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men's Field  Athlete of the Week honors as announced on Monday.

The Geneseo Blue Knights remained at #9 for the third straight week in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Coaches Poll. Geneseo is 7-1 after a commanding 18-6 win over Potsdam on Saturday. The Knights celebrate Senior Day as they host unranked Plattsburgh on Saturday at 1 p.m.
