The women's tennis team lost just five games this afternoon on the way to a 9-0 blanking of Oswego at Fredonia in the final day of SUNYAC West round robin play. Each of Geneseo's doubles teams won by a score of 8-1 with juniors Monica Vieth and Julia Passik taking first, first year Lucy Mehrabyan and junior Melissa Baker winning second and junior Katie Gayvert and sophomore Sarah Shields capturing third. In singles action, four of the Knights won by scores of 6-0, 6-0, including Mehrabyan at second, Passik at third, Shields at fifth and sophomore Katie Talbot at sixth. Vieth at first singles and Gayvert at fourth singles won 6-1, 6-0. Geneseo is 4-0 on the season and travels to New Paltz on Friday.
