NFHCA Division III Senior Game

The National Field Hockey Coaches Association selected senior forward Michelle Milkovich to participate in the 2010 Division III Senior All-Star game. Milkovich, the first Geneseo player chosen for this contest, is one of 38 players selected to play in the 9 a.m. game on Sunday, November 21 at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia.

Milkovich, a three-time All-North Atlantic Region and first team All-SUNYAC pick, leads Geneseo this season with school records in goals (14), assists (12) and points (40), is the Geneseo career leader in assists (35) and points (101) and stands second in career goals with 33.

NFHCA Division III Coaches Poll

The Geneseo field hockey team appeared in the 2010 Kookaburra/NFCHA Division III National Coaches poll for the first time in program history this week. The Blue Knights, who have won 15 straight games to move to 16-1 on the season, entered the poll at #20.

SUNYAC Players of the Week

Junior Lee Berube, sophomore Marissa Liberati and first year Rich Manley have been named SUNYAC Athletes of the Week for their respective sports as announced by the State University of New York Athletic Conference on Monday, November 1.

Berube and Liberati earned SUNYAC Cross Country Runners of the Week after each won the individual title at the 2010 SUNYAC Cross Country championships at Oswego on Saturday, while Manley posted three goals and two assists in a 2-0 week, including a pair of scores in the 7-3 win over #4 Plattsburgh to earn SUNYAC Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week.

USTFCCCA Division III Coaches Poll

The Geneseo men's cross country team remained at #3 in this week's USTFCCCA Division III Coaches Poll after their second straight SUNYAC team title. On the women's side, the Blue Knights fell to #12 in the poll after finishing second to #9 Cortland.
