Senior Michelle Rodriguez joins five members of the men's swimming and diving team at the NCAA Division III championships in Knoxville, Tennessee beginning on Wednesday, March 23 and concluding on Saturday, March 26. Rodriguez competes in the 500-yard freestyle on Wednesday, the 200 free on Thursday and the 100 freestyle on Saturday. Rodriguez has 13 All-America certificates and is striving to become Geneseo's all-time leader in national awards by passing Josh Muldner '99, who claimed 15 awards in men's swimming.
On the men's side, senior Wills DeMoulin, a two-time All-American in one-meter diving, competes in the one-meter board on Thursday and the three-meter board on Saturday. Geneseo's quartet of juniors Andrew Kuter, Dan Strothenke and Aaron Wagner and sophomore Frank Schiappa looks to earn their first national awards. The foursome competes in the 200 medley relay on Wednesday, the 200 free relay on Thursday, the 800 free relay on Friday and the 400 free relay on Saturday.
In addition, Schiappa qualified for individual events and swims the 50 free on Wednesday, the 200 free on Thursday and the 100 free on Saturday.
