The 2011 Roundtable Athletic Association/Blue Knights Golf Classic is set for Saturday, May 21 at Livingston Country Club in Geneseo, New York. The cost per golfer is $95 for 18-holes, riding cart, lunch, dinner and prizes. Registration begins at 11 a.m., with lunch being served at 12 p.m. and the shotgun start slated for 1:30 p.m.
Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Lou Piccone and former Buffalo Sabres winger Rene Robert are scheduled to appear and compete in this year's tournament!
Robert, who played in the National Hockey League from 1970-82, scored 222 of his 284 goals and 350 of his 418 assists for the Sabres from 1971-79 as part of the famous "French Connection" line with Gilbert Perrault and the late Rick Martin.
Piccone, who played nine seasons in the NFL for the New York Jets from 1974-76 and for the Bills from 1977-82, caught 100 passes for 1,380 yards and six touchdowns and was a standout special teams player.
