The SUNY Geneseo women's tennis team won their sixth dual match in as many tries with a 9-0 win over visiting Fredonia on the Letchworth Tennis Courts this afternoon. The Blue Knights have won five straight matches by a 9-0 score and the individuals are a combined 52-2 on the season. First year Shiho Sato (pictured left) won 6-0, 6-0 at third singles and teamed with sister Kaho Sato to capture second doubles, 8-0. Seniors Monica Vieth and Julia Passik combined to win by a score of 8-0 at first doubles, with the former taking first singles, 6-0, 6-0 and the latter winning second singles by the same score. Seniors Lauren Johnson and Reggie Connelly completed the doubles sweep with an 8-0 win at third. First year Courtney Sokol won a 6-0, 6-0 decision at sixth singles in her first action of the season, junior Katie Talbot won 6-1, 6-2 at fourth singles and first year Amanda Rosati won 6-2, 6-0 at fifth singles. The Blue Knights travel to the University of Rochester on Wednesday.
