The SUNY Geneseo Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation thanks members of the entire Geneseo college community; students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni and Livingston County residents, along with friends and family of the Salve Regina men's ice hockey team, for participating in the first SUNY Geneseo Teddy Bear Toss at the men's ice hockey game on Friday, December 9.

More than 600 stuffed animals were collected from the ice as spectators tossed their donation following the first Geneseo goal, scored by junior Ryan Bulach at 6:47 of the first period. The toys will be donated to three local charities; Catholic Charities, Focus on the Children and Foster Children of Livingston County, all of whom had representatives at the game.
