Sophomore Matt Curry scored 16 of his career-high 21 points in the first half and added a career-best 13 rebounds to lead the host Geneseo men's basketball team to a 90-81 win over D'Youville (3-7) in a non-conference game in the Carl Schrader Gymnasium. Geneseo scored the initial seven points of the game and led by as many as 12 points at 36-24 on their way to a 52-42 lead at the intermission. In the second half, D'Youville cut the lead to five at 59-54, but Geneseo scored six straight to reclaim an 11-point lead and control of the contest. Sophomore Jordan Jones netted 15 of his 18 points in the opening stanza, sophomore Connor Fedge hit 7-7 from the line on his way to 15 points with seven boards and junior Ryan Riefenhauser collected 12 points with nine rebounds and six assists on six of eight shooting for Geneseo. The Blue Knights move to 3-7 on the year and travel to Cortland on Saturday.
