Junior Corbin Rosmarin scored unassisted with 2:02 remaining in the game to give the Geneseo men's hockey team a 5-4 comeback win over the host Franklin Pierce Ravens in Rindge, New Hampshire tonight. Sophomore Carson Schell scored two goals for Geneseo and Michael Carr netted a hat trick for the Ravens in the losing effort. Schell opened the scoring at 13:47 of the first period on assists from Stefan Decosse and Jake Yard. Carr gave the Ravens a 2-1 lead with goals at 16:54 of the first and 29 seconds into the second. Senior David Arduin tied the game at 5:56 of the second on assists from Kaz Iwamoto and Ryan Bulach. After Franklin Pierce reclaimed the lead at 12:07, Iwamoto got his third of the season from Arduin with only 43 seconds left in the middle frame. Carr's third score at the 13:24 mark of the third gave the Ravens the lead, but Schell notched his fifth of the season on an assist from Zachary Vit at the 14:18 mark. Senior Cory Gershon made 15 saves to post the win as Geneseo had 34 shots to just 19 for the Ravens. The Ice Knights move to 8-6-0 on the season and take on Franklin Pierce on Saturday in the second game of the weekend series.
