Sophomore Lea Sobieraski hit 8-15 from the field and 3-5 from the line for a career-high 19 points with six rebounds to lead the visiting Geneseo women's basketball team to a 75-46 win over the Keuka College Storm (6-2) tonight. First year Shannon McGinnis was 4-5 from the floor, 1-2 from the arc and 5-7 from the line for 14 points with nine boards and junior Melissa Graham scored nine points with seven caroms and three assists on 4-8 from the field and 1-3 from the arc. Senior Bri Dunton and first year Rachael Bassett netted seven points apiece as 11 of 13 players scored at least one point in the victory. Geneseo closed the first half with a 6-0 run to take a 35-24 lead at the break. In the second half, the Blue Knights got three pointers from senior Katelyn Charbonneau, Bassett, Graham and first year Cara Manfredi during a 16-0 run which extended the lead to 53-28. The Blue Knights move to 7-4 on the season and host Fredonia on Friday at 6 p.m.
