2012-13 Season Begins

The 2012-13 sports season begins today for the Geneseo Blue Knights as the women's volleyball team takes on Stevens Institute in the opening round of the NYU tournament at 1:30 p.m.

In other action on Friday, women's field hockey travels to Wilkes (Pa.) College to take on the hosts in the opening round of their tournament at 3 p.m., the women's tennis team travels to Nazareth College at 4 p.m., the women's soccer squad kicks off their season by taking on Salisbury at the Farmingdale tournament at 4:45 p.m. and the women's and men's cross country teams race at Buffalo State at 5 p.m.

Geneseo's men's soccer squad begins their season on Saturday as they face Ohio Northern at 11:30 a.m. in the first round of the Penn State Behrend tournament.
