Men's Lacrosse Loses At #5 RIT

Rochester, N.Y. – The Geneseo men’s lacrosse team (4-3) dropped a 17-4 decision to fifth-ranked Rochester Institute of Technology Wednesday.

Sophomore attack Steven Cregan (Rochester/Brighton) collected a pair of assists, giving him 17 this season and 52 in his career.

Senior midfielder John Felix (Scarsdale/Scarsdale) scored Geneseo’s first goal – his fourth in three games.

Senior midfielder Tim Burgess (Syracuse/Westhill), sophomore attack Andre Keating (Ithaca/Ithaca) and sophomore attack Brent Lawless (Massapequa Park/Massapequa) each scored a goal. Sophomore attack Cory Gleasman (Clinton/Clinton) added an assist.

Junior Ryan Zaremba (Bay Shore/Army Prep) made 12 saves and picked up four ground balls.  Junior Adam Perri (Auburn/Auburn) stopped three fourth-quarter shots.

Cregan and senior defenseman Jeff Dunworth (Katonah/John Jay) also collected four ground balls.

The Knights are idle until hosting top-ranked Cortland next Wednesday.
