Follow This Weekend's NCAA Track & Field Championships Online

La Crosse, Wis. – Four members of the women’s track & field team and two members of the men’s track & field team will be competing at this weekend’s NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Wisconsin-La Crosse. Fans can follow the meet through live results or the NCAA’s webcast. Geneseo’s action kicks off Thursday with Cailin Kowalewski (Fredonia/Fredonia) running in the preliminaries of the 1,500-meter run at 4:30 p.m. Two other Knights will race in trials Thursday: junior Allison Hoh (Honeoye Falls/Honeoye Falls-Lima) in the 400-meter hurdles at 5:05 p.m. and graduate student Alyssa Smith (Rochester/Brighton) in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 7:50 p.m. Competition continues Friday with two Knights in the day’s last preliminaries: sophomore Keira Wood (Lake Ronkonkoma/Sachem North) in the 800-meter run at 7:10 p.m. and senior Chris Carter (Grand Island/Grand Island) at 7:25 p.m. Smith and senior Alex Brimstein (Webster/Thomas) wrap up Geneseo’s entrants, competing in the 5,000-meter run Saturday at 5:30 and 5:55 p.m., respectively.
