Sheikha Khadija Radhin Presents Lecture-Demonstrations March 8

Sheikha Khadija Radhin, a teacher of Sufi (mystical Islam) dance and meditation, will present two lecture-demonstrations on Tuesday, March 8 at 11:30am-12:45pm and at 2:30pm-3:45 pm in the Holcomb building "cafetorium." (View campus map .pdf ). These events are free and open to the public.

Students are asked to bring pillows to sit on; chairs will be provided for guests who prefer to refrain from floor sitting.

Choreographer and master dance teacher Sheikha Khadija has practiced Sufi meditation for over thirty years. She has given workshops, master classes and lectures all over the world, including Israel, India, Mexico, Turkey, and Europe, and throughout the United States. In 1999, she founded the Dervish Retreat Center in Spencer, NY, where she continues to welcome students of all ethnic and religious backgrounds, teaching them about the power of spiritual healing and restoration through whirling.
