“Fighting Fracking: A View From the Trenches" : 4/17

David Slottje and Helen Slottje will present "Fighting Fracking: A View From the Trenches" on Thursday, April 17 at 2:30pm in the MacVittie College Union Ballroom.

The Slottjes are former "Big Law" attorneys who co-founded Community Environmental Defense Council, Inc. (CEDC), a public interest, environmental law firm serving New York State communities.  To date, the CEDC has supported nearly 150 municipalities in passing either a ban or moratorium on gas drilling.

Helen H. Slottje received a BA in Economics with Honors from the College of the Holy Cross in 1989, and received her law degree in 1992 from the University of Pennsylvania. From 1991 to 1992 she studied at Harvard Law School.

David F. Slottje graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University in 1978, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and received his law degree in 1981 from Emory University.
