Internship and Job Fair Connects Students with Employers, Alumni

More than 73 companies, 450 students and 20 alumni recruiters attended SUNY Geneseo's first Professional Job and Internship Fair on March 6. The event provided an opportunity for employers to talk directly with students about professional employment and internship opportunities.

"National research shows that liberal arts students offer employers a wide range of marketable skills including working in a team, effective communication, problem solving and a willingness to think outside the box," said Rob DiCarlo, associate director for internship opportunities. "We were pleased to offer this opportunity to employers and students, and look forward to hosting additional job and internship fairs in the future."
