The Geneseo Wind Quintet

General Information:

• SUNY Geneseo has had a resident wind quintet for at least 35 years.
• All the members of the quintet are on the faculty at Geneseo.
• The quintet presents two recitals a year on campus and performs in the greater Rochester area as well.
• The Geneseo Wind Quintet has appeared numerous times on live broadcasts on WXXI Radio and on the “LIVE From Hochstein” concert series in Rochester.
• The group performs repertoire that spans the history of woodwind quintet music and often collaborates with other musician and colleagues to play works for larger and more varied ensembles.
