SUNY Geneseo's Alpha Chi Rho fraternity to put the
"deep freeze" on cancer
Students sleep out in the cold to benefit charity
WHAT: A weeklong
fund-raiser aiming to raise $2,000 for the American Cancer Society.
WHO: Brothers of the
Alpha Chi Rho fraternity will brave the cold day and night, studying, eating,
and sleeping in tents outside 24 hours a day to raise money for cancer
research, education, advocacy and service.
WHEN: Beginning at 8
p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29 and lasting until noon on Friday, Feb. 3.
WHERE: In the
Sturges Quad on the SUNY Geneseo campus, located between Erwin and Sturges
halls.
