SUNY Geneseo Calendar of
 Events for Sept. 27-Oct. 3

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 27:
MILNE LIBRARY:  The Corporate and Business Partners of SUNY Geneseo are sponsoring the Heavens Above exhibit, a series of transparencies and interactive media from deep space captured by the Hubble Space Telescope while orbiting the earth over the past 16 years.  The exhibit will be on display from August 27 to December 17.  For more information http://heavensabove.geneseo.edu/.

LOCKHART GALLERY:  The Lockhart Gallery, located in the McClellan House, 26 Main St., Geneseo, presents the Richard Beale Exhibit. The exhibit runs through Friday, October 12.  The gallery is open noon-4 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and noon-8 p.m. Thursdays. ROBERT SINCLAIR THEATRE:  The School of the Arts presents "The Clean House," by Sarah Ruhl, a play about laughter, death, and sisterly warfare. A Pulitzer Prize finalist in 2005, Ruhl invites her audience to a messy universe, a "metaphysical Connecticut," where soul mates meet, unlikely alliances are forged, and hard truths demand grace.  The event, directed by Leah Garland, begins at 8 p.m. in Robert Sinclair Theatre, Brodie Hall, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 30.  Sunday's performance is at 2 p.m. General Admission is $7.  Tickets may be purchased the week of the performance at bbo.geneseo.edu or by calling (585) 245-5833.

LEDERER GALLERY:  The Bertha V.B. Lederer Gallery, in Brodie Hall, presents the Annual Faculty Exhibition.  The show features new work from SUNY Geneseo's School of the Arts Faculty. An opening reception will be held from 4:30-6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27. The gallery is open noon-4 p.m. Sundays–Wednesdays and 5-8 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays.  The exhibit runs through Friday, Oct. 5.
