TRAVELERS FOUNDATION GRANTS $12,000 IN SCHOLARSHIP MONEY TO SUNY GENESEO
Four Students Earn $2,500 scholarships
GENESEO, N.Y. – The Travelers Foundation has contributed $12,000 to the State University of New York at Geneseo for the 2003-2004 academic year to provide scholarships for students interested in insurance careers in the college’s Jones School of Business and the department of mathematics. The Foundation has also contributed a direct grant in support of actuarial science programs at the college.
Anthony Trimarchi, Tim Fechter and Jason Kroening, each of whom have participated in the Travelers internship program, earned $2,500 Travelers scholarships. Marianne Birnbaum, who is applying for a summer 2004 Travelers internship, also earned a $2,500 scholarship.
