GENESEO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo is observing the 13th annual National French Week through Nov. 12 to celebrate the French language and the numerous Francophone cultures throughout the world.
Several events are free and open to the public:
Nov. 4, 7 p.m., Milne Library Room 105
Kara Szamborsky, a 2011 Geneseo alumna, will discuss study abroad programs and their value in a career pathway.

Cultural evening and study abroad presentations.

Film screening of "L'auberge espagnole" (with subtitles)

FREN 375 presents the film "The Rocket"

Guest speaker Eileen M. Angelini, professor French at Canisius College, will address "The Legend of Maurice 'Rocket' Richard: An Inspirational Story That Crosses Borders and Cultures."
Nov. 12, 7:30 p.m., Sturges Hall Auditorium
The Geneseo String Band performs and the screening of "Crac."
National French Week activities at Geneseo are sponsored by the Department of Languages and Literatures and the Geneseo French Club.
