Election Day is quickly approaching, and Geneseo students are prepared. Here is a list of events occurring on campus before and during Election Day:
Democrat-Republican Debate: Monday November 5th, 7:00 p.m. in Newton 214. Sponsored by Geneseo College Democrats and Geneseo College Republicans, listen to a debate regarding The Economy, Social Welfare, Foreign Policy, and more.
Geneseo Votes: Tuesday November 6th, 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the Union Ballroom. Sponsored by Democracy Matters, various organizations have come together to compile all of the information about this year's election for
you in fun and exciting ways! There will also be fun activities to participate in, such as a (literal) campaign race. The
event will end with a March to the Polls, with everyone walking to the poll booths together after learning about each candidate.
Swing States Sweepstakes: Tuesday November 6th, 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. in the Union Ballroom. Test your political knowledge
or exercise your psychic abilities as each Swing State reveals which way it will go. There will be a snack bar, prizes, and activities hosted by various clubs and organizations, supported by Geneseo Late Knight, the Office of New Student Programs, CAS, and Residence Life.

Does anyone know when the town/village allowed students to register to vote as Geneseo residents? I remember helping a lot of students fill out absentee ballot applications, because we had to vote absentee in our home districts.
