GENESEO, NY -James Patrick and Larry Rothchild are the final speakers of the Fall 2012 All-College Hour Distinguised Speaker Series with their presentation titled, "What's The Rush? A frank discussion of the reality of gay relationships AFTER the legalizing of same sex marriage." The presentation will be held in the MacVittie College Union Ballroom during All-College Hour on Wednesday, December 5th from 2:30pm-3:30pm. There will be a light reception starting at 2:15pm. The presentation will include an interview with Mr. Patrick and Mr. Rothchild, who have been partners for 8 years, and also allow time for the audience to ask questions.
Rothchild grew up in Yorktown Heights, NY and attended SUNY Geneseo where he majored in Business Management. Rothchild earned an MBA in International Business from Northeastern University and a Masters in Elementary Education from Pace University as part of the NYC Teaching Fellows Program. Rothchild resides in Park Slope Brooklyn and works as a Business Development Manager for a Non-Profit Organization in NYC where he supports community and economic development initiatives for 7 community based organizations.
Patrick grew up in Perry, NY and attended SUNY Fredonia where he earned a BFA in Theater Performance. He obtained a degree in Massage Therapy and a Masters of Acupuncture Science at the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences. Patrick works as a Massage Therapist and Regional Trainer for the Americas for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and is a core faculty member at The Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences where he teaches Eastern Studies. Patrick also has a private acupuncture and massage therapy practice in NYC.
