GENESEO, N.Y. -- Students are arriving on campus for the fall semester as residence halls opened their doors today for the traditional freshman Move-in Day. Members of college athletic teams helped new students carry items to their rooms to help streamline the process of getting settled. Freshmen will take part in numerous activities during the next few weeks, including Weeks of Welcome activities and getting acclimated to a new academic environment.

New student convocation is Sunday (Aug. 24) at 6:30 p.m. in Wadsworth Auditorium. Convocation speaker will be Jeremy Grace from the political science and international relations faculty, who will address "Things Fall Apart (It's Getting Better All the Time)."

Classes begin Monday (Aug. 25).
