Jessica Gelber, Assistant Professor Philosophy at Syracuse University, will present "What is the Point of Teleological Explanation?" at 3pm Friday, December 9 in Welles 123.

Gelber received her PhD in Philosophy from the University of California at Berkeley. Her primary research interests are in Ancient Greek and Roman philosophy, with emphasis on ancient science and medicine. Her current projects focus on Aristotle's philosophy of biology, philosophy of science, and metaphysics.
