GENESEO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo's Human Resources and Payroll Services Department has earned the New York State Comptroller's Payroll Achievement Award for 2013.
The award is based on performance measures and statewide performance standards developed by the New York State Payroll Users Group and Bureau of State Payroll Services to evaluate the performance of State agency payroll offices.
All awards are based on a composite score of transactions submitted for on-time appointments, and on-time separations adjusted by post-deadline submissions.
The state has honored Geneseo’s Human Resources and Payroll Services team: Front row (l to r): Brian L. "Credit for this award goes to our entire human resources and payroll staff," said Julie Briggs, assistant vice president for human resources. "It's a well-coordinated team effort to produce timely materials used to measure performance for these awards and we are all pleased with the recognition."
The college received the award during a Jan. 9 ceremony in Albany. The office received an Outstanding Performance Award from the state comptroller in 2011.
