1996 APS Meeting

The Nuke Group is very active outside of the lab as well. Members have attended many national physics meetings, and often take more relaxed social excursions to such places as Acadia National Park in Maine, and to Dr. Reber's cabin in Pennsylvania.

Our Trip to the March 1996 APS Meeting

About 13 students and two faculty took a road trip to the March 1996 APS Meeting in St. Louis. Six students presented four posters at the undergraduate poster session. After the meeting we took the great physics lab tour of the mid-west, touring Argonne National Laboratory, Fermilab, the Nuclear Structure Lab at Notre Dame, and the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at Michigan State University.

Acadia, Maine

After a hard half-summer of research, the team needs a break. Some took a week long excursion to Acadia National Park in Maine.

Sleeping at Dr. Reber's Cabin...

An annual tradition, the research team takes a weekend long retreat to Dr. Reber's cabin in the Pennsylvanian outback to unwind, to say the least!
