Dear Students:

On Thursday, November 15th, Geneseo will be conducting a NY-Alert and
Emergency Communications test. During the test, we will employ all
the methods of communication that have been established to notify you
in situations where your personal safety may be at risk. NY-Alert,
the New York State All-Hazards Alert and Notification web-based
Portal, is a voluntary subscription-based service that Geneseo is a
member. If you haven't yet subscribed to NY-Alert, please complete
the Emergency Alert Notification survey on Knightweb. If you have
any questions, please contact the CIT HelpDesk at 5588.

When the test is complete, an Allstudents-L message will be sent with
a short survey to collect your feedback on the success of the test.
