On Thursday, November 15th , SUNY Geneseo will be conducting a NY-Alert and Emergency Communications test. During the test, we will employ all the methods of communication that have been established to notify you in situations where your personal safety may be at risk. NY-Alert, the New York State All-Hazards Alert and Notification web-based Portal, is a voluntary subscription-based service that Geneseo is a member. If you haven’t yet subscribed to NY-Alert, please visit: https://www2.sysadm.suny.edu/employeeservices/login/login.cfm
Click the “Sign on” box in the upper right corner, login using your Geneseo ID and password, and then follow the instructions accordingly. If you have any questions, please contact the CIT HelpDesk at 5588.
When the test is complete, an Allstaff-L message will be sent with a short survey to collect your feedback on the success of the test.
