Search Committee receives link to candidate materials.
Search Committee meets to decide the 10 to 12 candidates to invite for first-round off-campus interviews (candidates’ identities still strictly confidential). The candidates are shared with SUNY.
Search committee decides on about 5 finalists to bring to campus for interviews.
On-campus interviews. Opportunities will be provided for the College community and other constituents to meet with the finalists and provide online feedback.
Search Committee and College Council review feedback from the campus interviews. Search Committee recommends 3 to 5 finalists to College Council, sharing their reasoning and decision-making process.
College Council recommends three candidates to the SUNY Chancellor.
SUNY Chancellor and her senior leadership interview the recommended candidates.
The chosen candidate is proposed to the Board of Trustees at their January meeting for their approval.
The new president begins his or her work at Geneseo.
