Each year, SUNY recognizes outstanding faculty and staff for their service to students and education. Nominations are being accepted for the following awards and ranks through Friday, Sept. 7:

  • Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching
  • Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Professional Service
  • Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Librarianship
  • Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities
  • Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Faculty Service
  • Distinguished Teaching Professor
  • Distinguished Service Professor

Send a letter describing the nominee's qualifications for the award or rank to Associate Professor of Biology Janice Lovett, College Senate vice chair, ISC 349. Nominees will be requested to submit a vita, letters of recommendation, and other information after the close of nominations.
