Sally Profeta '13, a political science and international relations and English literature major, wrote a paper for Professor Jeremy Grace in a senior capstone course called Theories of International Relations through the Political Science department," which will be published in the Sigma Iota Rho Journal of International Relations.
Profeta's paper, "Realism and its Critics: The Chinese, American, and Sudanese Oil Triangle," is one of 12 chosen nationally to be included in the spring 2013 issue (volume 15) of the journal. The journal is nationally acclaimed as a premier undergraduate journal of international studies. Profeta is the first Geneseo student whose work has been published in the journal since it's founding in 1998.
Jamie Butcher has been accepted to participate in the 2013-2014 Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals, a study and work-abroad fellowship for one year. He is among 75 participants who were chosen among a pool of over 600 applicants.
