Wendy Metz, adjunct instructor in The Department of Communicative Disorders and Sciences, died on Aug. 30, 2013. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Nazareth College in speech pathology, and worked in the Rochester City School District for over 30 years. For 23 years, she taught both undergraduate and graduate courses at Geneseo and worked for 10 summers with Geneseo's Harold Starbuck Fluency Clinic. Among her contributions to Geneseo, she supervised upwards of 100 student teachers and graduate students. She was recognized with the college’s Joseph O'Brien Award for excellence in part-time teaching in 2008.
