At Geneseo, faculty, staff, students and alumni give back to their communities and reach out with random acts of kindness, daily.
Recently, Ken Hartman ’81 received the U.S. Army’s highest civilian honor for his work with Our Community Salutes, an organization he founded to recognize high-school seniors who choose to join the Armed Forces. The list goes on.
Do you know someone who has made a difference in the lives of others, either with a group or individually? For the college, on campus, in their community or 3,000 miles away? We’d like to know. We are interested in large endeavors, and the seemingly small acts that might otherwise go unnoticed but leave their mark.
