Housing How-To Guide

Important Housing Policies:  Before submitting your Residential License Agreement form, we suggest that you read these housing policies.

Note: The Residential License Agreement is binding for the entire 2010 - 2011 academic year. This means that you will not simply be able to move off-campus for the Spring 2011 semester if you so desire. If you are planning to graduate or study abroad during the Spring 2011 semester, however, it is possible for you to be released from your Spring 2011 housing obligation.

Explanation of Housing Selection Processes:  In this section of the Housing How-To Guide, the application and selection processes for townhouses, suites, and corridor-style rooms are explained in detail. All of the tasks and responsibilities necessary for you to obtain campus housing next year are conveniently listed for each type of housing which we offer.

Homesteading Information:  If you live in a non first-year experience residence hall, you can select a room in your current residence hall without actually attending the Housing Selection Event at the Wilson Ice Arena. This process is termed Homesteading, and you can learn more about Homesteading here.

Housing Selection Glossary:  Our glossary defines some of the terms used within our Housing How-To Guide and the rest of our Housing Selection web site.
