About Jones Hall:
Location: Central Village
Housing Type: Corridor-Style
Class Years: All
Features: An L-shaped building in the center of campus, Jones Hall is our oldest residential community -- and the only residence hall not named after a county in New York.
For 2014 - 2015, Jones Hall will accommodate students of all class years in superior single rooms. Priority for these single rooms will be given to current SUNY Geneseo students. If any rooms are still available in Jones after current students choose their housing for 2014 - 2015, new first-year and transfer students will be able to apply for any remaining rooms.
Current students may select a Jones single when they go online to choose their room for 2014-15.
New students are assigned housing after submitting their online application. To indicate interest in a Jones Hall superior single, write in your preference in the comment section at the end of the application. Note: we anticipate that all Jones Hall single rooms will be selected by current students.
The common areas scattered throughout Jones include 3 lounges and a laundry room.
