The 2016 camp will take place Monday, July 11 - Friday, July 15 (first week) and Monday, July 18 - Friday, July 22 (second week)
Rochester Young Scholars Academy at Geneseo (RYSAG) is a summer STEM camp for adolescence students that provide rising 6-11th grade participants with an intensive 2-week residential thematic program. The 2016 theme is Discovering the Iroquois: An Archeological Dig which will focus on excavating an archaeological dig; idenfifying evidence; documenting the site using digital photography, mapping and mathematical anallyses; thinking cricially to connect clues through contextual and cultural hints, doing library based research and scientific methods in an archaeology lab; and practicing and improving public speaking skills.
