A scholarship to a full time graduate student in the masters in Accounting program. The recipient must have earned a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 and distinguish him or herself in the undergraduate program leading to this study. Preference will be given to students who received their undergraduate degree from Geneseo. This scholarship was established by Mr. Edwin Yuen '99, in memory of his wife Yan Zhu "Cindy" Guan '99.
A $1,200 scholarship given to a student entering the M.S. in Accounting program. The recipient will be announced in the spring of his/her senior year. Award criteria include: active membership in an organization outside the School of Business; demonstrated financial need; and academic success. Applicants will be asked to submit an essay addressing the importance of a balance between academic success and involvement in activities/organizations outside the classroom. This scholarship is supported by John '95 and Stephen '99 Vamossy.
A scholarship to a qualifying Geneseo student majoring in Elementary and Special Education who has a strong academic record and who demonstrates the following qualities: enthusiasm for teaching and learning, advocacy for students with special needs and their families, leadership, wit, compassion, and integrity. Special preference will be given to students who intend to complete their Masters Degree at Geneseo's School of Education. This scholarship in memory of Susan J. Hughes, Class of 1997, is supported by an endowment established by her family and friends.
