National:As a national sorority, SDT is connected to over 90 campuses across the US and Canada with over 40,000 alumnae. SDT was founded in 1917 at Cornell University, our national organization strengthens our chapter by offering scholarships and providing networking opportunities to our sisters. The Gamma Chi Chapter at SUNY Geneseo was founded in 1991 and our local colors are rasberry, blue and gold. | |
Our House:The SDT House is located at 14 Wadsworth Street and is home to 8 of our sisters every year. After recently being purchased by one of our alumnae, it is guaranteed to stay within our sisterhood for years to come. We just finished painting the downstairs and it looks great!

|
Scholarship:SDT has the highest overall GPA of all the sororities on campus. We offer sister-sister tutoring and constant encouragement to all of our sisters to excel in their academics. This past semester, Fall 2009, the sisters had an overall GPA of 3.37. There are at least a few girls of every major in the sorority that are always willing to help other girls out with their studies. |
