I am an active member of Zeta Beta Xi Fraternity. I have served as president, new member educator, and recruitment chair.
I'm excited to be a study abroad mentor so I can encourage students to have an unforgettable experience and step out of their comfort zone.
My Study Abroad Tips:
HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE!
Keep in mind that although you benefit most from your experience, while abroad you not only represent yourself, but also your family, community, college, and country.
Although it may seem cliche as a tip, making friends and networking within the community while abroad is super important. These connections can be very useful in maintaining a relationship with your study abroad country and can prove to be very beneficial even years after your return. Plus it is always nice to say you have a friend somewhere else in the world.
Stay educated on whats going on back home, both in the sense of college life and national news.
