1. Open Announcements: The Bhangra Team needs more male dancers. Auditions
are soon. Contact Connor Burgevin at cb16 if you've got moves.

2. Subcommittee Updates:
-CAS Sustainability Committee- meets tomorrow at 3 in Blake A108. Talk to
Emily at erk4.
-Water Bottle/Plastic meets tomorrow at 4 in the piano lounge. Talk to
Kristen at kmb35.
-Recycling Awareness...talk to Garrett, email at gmb6.
-Green Roof: Thursday at 3pm in Schrader 131, there will be a meeting with
Jeff Kaplan where sustainability initiatives will be discussed as well as
geothermal heating in Seneca and soon in Doty, rain gardens, and porous
pavement.

3. Recap/Debate of Gasland:
Check out theeconomist.com- Virtual Debate on Hydrofracking
How long has natural gas drilling been going on? Over 50 years
Coal drilling is far more detrimental than hydrofracking.
Possibility of bringing in a coal advocate to speak at a meeting? Might
foster a great debate.

4. Power Shift, National Environmental Convention 4/15-4/18 at the DC
Convention Center:
We're waiting to write an SA proposal and be reimbursed for costs, so
please hold off on registering!

5. Brainstorming ideas: Covanta in Buffalo helps communities turn trash
into electrical trash, a process known as Energy-from-Waste (EfW). Emily's
uncle works there...possible field trip!
