Come represent your class year and complete in lawn games that will be spread across the College Green. Games will include Kan Jam, washers, corn hole , ladderball and more! Free food and refreshments for participants will be provided. 1:00pm-2:00 pm Leadership Concepts GOLD Leadership Center, MacVittie College Union, Room 114

Everyone has an opinion about leaders and what constitutes effective leadership. Everyone can be a leader and most of us will be called upon to lead at one time or another. Start or continue your leadership journey with this introductory session to the GOLD program and to the fascinating world of leadership concepts, myths, and possibilities. This required program serves as both an introduction and foundation to the leadership programs within the GOLD program. Within this highly interactive workshop, participants are asked to engage in a variety of activities. The activities range from self-reflection on what leadership means from a personal perspective, to identifying with leadership philosophies of a great number of leaders from both history and the present. Further, the instructor explains to the participants the nature and purpose of the GOLD program, the requirements for completion of the various certificates, and guides participants through a foundational understanding of what leadership is and what role everyone has to play as leaders.

3pm  Mapping your blood pressure MCU 324

The Geneseo Minority Association of Pre-health students would like to educate you on blood pressure and its significance to your health. Stop by the college union to get your blood pressure check and for some educational information.

 

3pm  Phi Sigma Xi & Sigma Kappa- Water Baloon Fight & BBQ Volleyball Court (across from Wayne Hall)

The brothers of the brothers of Phi Sigma Xi and the sisters of Sigma Kappa host activities including Kan Jam tournament, water balloon fights, and a BBQ where they hope to answer any questions you have about Greek Life or Geneseo in general.

4pm-5pm  Bhangra Workshop The Knight Spot

Hosted by Geneseo Bhangra, this fun and interactive workshop will teach you basic Bhangra movements and choreography while keeping in good health and learning a piece of Punjabi culture.

4pm-6pm  Alpha Sigma Tau & Kappa Sigma BBQ Merritt Patio

The sisters of Alpha Sigma Tau and the brothers of Kappa Sigma host a BBQ with activities including frisbee, kan jam, and football. It will be a great opportunity to meet new people!

5pm  Tees, Tea, & Tai Chi College Green (Rain location:The Knight Spot)

Join in on an outdoor Tai Chi class and enjoy some tea with the Community Health Alliance (CHA). Learn about the health benefits of Tai Chi and alternative options to de-stress. The first 30 students in attendance will receive a FREE t-shirt!
