The Music
The Music Directors at WGSU receive all sorts of music from around the country and around the world, and we personally listen to every CD that arrives at the station. At WGSU, we are committed to playing independent artists who straddle the line between experimentation and pop accessibility. What makes a band or artist worthy of radio airplay, above all else, is a unique, one-of-a-kind sound. WGSU especially favors songs which include: handclaps, boy-girl vocals, slide guitars, noisy feedback, tambourines and tribal rhythms.
