I am a freshman from Washington Heights, New York City and a Spanish major with a pre-med track. I took Dr. Linda Ware's Disability in America class fall semester and the class opened my eyes to the injustices that people with disability face everyday and wanted to join the many advocates that stand up for the disabled community to get their rights back. I hope that through the collaboration of SEEA and ACE I can convince other able body people like me to join the fight to get disabled people the right they were born with and that society takes away from them.
